Dr. Arsalan Poorsina
Dr. Poorsina decided on a career in dentistry at the early age of ten. Dr Poorsina's work philosophy is simple: he considers himself a "tooth doctor" and is interested in the overall healthcare of his patients.
Dr. Poorsina takes pride in establishing a patient-centered approach of which comprehensive treatment planning is paramount. From educating his patients about dentistry to developing a friendly rapport with them, Dr. Poorsina believes in making sure his patients are with him every step of the way.
Dr. Poorsina holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Western Ontario. He is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, The American Academy of Pain Management, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. He is a Fellow of the American Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Emma D'Souza
Dr. Emma D’Souza’s career in dentistry blossomed from the front desk here at Glen Abbey Dental. She delved into her dental career with a particular enthusiasm for restorative dentistry, and has a special interest in geriatric dental services.
Dr. D’Souza is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, and has practiced dentistry in Canada and abroad, participating in various dental outreach programs overseas. She also holds a Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Developmental Biology from the University of Toronto.
Dr. D’Souza believes that communication is key. She encourages dialogues with patients to comprehend their concerns, helps them understand their treatment options and tries to simplify the complexity of dentistry for patients. She endeavors to create a calm, comforting and professional environment of care for her patients.
Outside the office, Dr. D’Souza is a food connoisseur, enjoys travelling and is an animal lover and dog mom to her pet shih tzus.
